Solska interpretacija je aktivna metoda za vzgojo kultiviranega bralca. Njena sestavina je solska analiza literarnih besedil, ki temelji na sistemu didakticnih definicij literarnoteoreticnih pojmov. Didakticne definicije se oblikujejo z didakticno transformacijo znanstvenih definicij.

Classroom interpretation is an active method in the education of a cultivated reader. Its main component is analysis of literary texts based on a system of didactic definitions of literaary theory concepts. Didactic definitions are created by didactic transformation of scientific definitions.

The article discusses the concept of cultivated reader, the main objective of the teaching of literature in Slovene secondary schools leading to the final 'matura' (baccalaureate) examination.

In pursuing this objective, the most important role is played by the active method of literary interpretation in the classroom. This is a system of teacher and student activities that passes through various stages of reception of literary works.

An important place in such active reception goes to questions and activities stimulating a reflective observation of the components of a literary work. The approach uses didactic definitions of literary theory concepts reshaped as questions. In the process of the formation of a didactic system of applied literary theory, scientific literary theory undergoes a didactic transformation. The procedures of this transformation are described and illustrated by examples of analysis of the internal structure of narrative texts.

A final scheme sums up the entire system of questions making part of a classroom interpretation of a literary work.
