English summary
Basic features of spoken discourse are presented, focusing on the concept of turn taking, which is --- apart from the communicators' co-operative behaviour --- the constitutive principle of spoken communication. An analysis of the spoken discourse of children aged 19.16 and 28.18 months in a formal private situation in a kindergarten reveals that even at this early age children are capable of participating in the communicative process, initiating it and maintaining it, using a combination of both linguistic and non-linguistic means. Besides, they already master (without being aware of it) various strategies for acquiring and maintaining communicative roles.
